The new Lexus IS has a 17.4-gallon fuel tank capacity which could be a surprise looking at the vehicle’s size. It’s fairly common to find cars with gas tanks that match their size, but the 2022 Lexus IS goes for a few more gallons to make your drive longer. Additional gallons result in more miles on the road and a bigger smile on drivers’ faces.
The 2022 Lexus IS has more than 430 miles of maximum range on a single full tank of fuel. The 2022 Lexus IS has the option to use 1 of 4 available engines with their own unique fuel efficiency. The available IS 350 F Sport trim has a gas mileage of 20 miles per gallon in the city, 28mpg on the highway, and 22mpg combined. The highest horsepower IS model, the IS 500 Sport Performance model gets 17 city miles per gallon, 25mpg on the highway, and 20mpg combined.
The 2022 Lexus IS has a 2.0-liter In-line 4-cylinder with 258 lb-ft of torque and 241 horsepower. This engine performs well when lined up against the other options the 2022 Lexus IS can use. The IS 300 AWD trim equips a 3.5L V6 that produces 260 horsepower. The IS 350 F Sport equips the same 3.5L V6 engine option, but this one gets 311 horsepower for quite the increase. Finally, the IS 500 Sport Performance uses an impressive 5.0L V8 that makes 472hp and the capability takes 4.4 seconds to go from 0-60 miles per hour. With a quick glance, it’s easy to think that the 2022 IS is a luxury sedan that can’t pack a punch, but upon close inspection, it’s easy to find out how the Lexus IS opens the gates to the thrilling future of luxury cars.

The service here is like going to a Kia dealership. I have had over two decades of luxury vehicles - mostly Audi and Cadillac. THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST DEALERSHIP YOU CAN GO TOO!
Let's start with the pull in. You pull in to this dim bull pen. NO WELCOME. Extremely outdated. Had to wait in car 10 min to be told where to pull up too. This is NOT the first time this has happened here. I am used to a service advisor greeting and giving me a plan.
Second - Don't expect a loaner like EVERY OTHER luxury dealer. You have to wait. TWO hours or get a ride. I have NEVER ONCE had an oil change or service at Audi and not gotten a loaner togo about my day.
Third - The OVER RUN - OUT DATED - waiting room. IT IS PACKED TO THE BRIM with people (because the dealership can't afford loaner cars). Relax while you wait at an outdated wooden desk. Do you want snacks??? Perfect - go ask an attendant who monitors snack consumption to make sure they don't give too much.
Fourth - Want Status of your car? Don't worry they will send you a link that never updates. It shows arrive the whole entire time.
I paid for Lexus extended service package but don't worry it BARELY COVERS ANYTHING!!!!!! Got a text with a ton of charges to the tune of about $1500 on top of the warranty. All of it is insane. I promise you go to any Sewell dealerships and you will understand how horrible this place is. NEVER AGAIN!
