The NX has a towing capacity of 2,000 pounds. What’s one feature for a luxury vehicle to separate itself from any competition; an abundance of engine capacity. Every NX engine that’s optional to choose from is similar in towing power yet unique in size and function. A 2.5L, 2.4L Turbo, or a Plug-In 2.5L powertrain are all engine options for many SUV models. But up to 2,000lbs of towing power is standard for each NX trim, which will break any expectations you set on the NX.

The Lexus NX horsepower is 203hp. Both of the Lexus NX 250 trim levels equip the same 2.5L powertrain that creates 203 HP for each ride. If that’s not enough horsepower for you, the available Lexus NX 350 produces 275 HP and the Lexus NX 350h model creates 240hp with an electric engine. But if you want even more power, the 450h trim levels use a 2.5L Plug-In Hybrid engine to create 304hp.
The Lexus NX has between a 3,660-4,475lb curb weight. Producing the highest horsepower creation, the NX that equips the 2.5L Plug-In Hybrid powertrain has the largest curb weight at 4,475 pounds. The NX 250 packages make the lightest curb weight hovering around 3,500lbs because it comes prepped with a front-wheel drive type and equips lighter features.
The Lexus NX has 7.7 inches of ground clearance. You’ll be able to drive tall in style because it’ll have a lot of ground clearance and its height as a premium vehicle. Every style of the NX lists a similar level of clearance and they all equip similar exterior features. The NX F Sport Handling version has a fresh take with its special exterior appearance but the same base 7.7in of ground clearance.

The service here is like going to a Kia dealership. I have had over two decades of luxury vehicles - mostly Audi and Cadillac. THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST DEALERSHIP YOU CAN GO TOO!
Let's start with the pull in. You pull in to this dim bull pen. NO WELCOME. Extremely outdated. Had to wait in car 10 min to be told where to pull up too. This is NOT the first time this has happened here. I am used to a service advisor greeting and giving me a plan.
Second - Don't expect a loaner like EVERY OTHER luxury dealer. You have to wait. TWO hours or get a ride. I have NEVER ONCE had an oil change or service at Audi and not gotten a loaner togo about my day.
Third - The OVER RUN - OUT DATED - waiting room. IT IS PACKED TO THE BRIM with people (because the dealership can't afford loaner cars). Relax while you wait at an outdated wooden desk. Do you want snacks??? Perfect - go ask an attendant who monitors snack consumption to make sure they don't give too much.
Fourth - Want Status of your car? Don't worry they will send you a link that never updates. It shows arrive the whole entire time.
I paid for Lexus extended service package but don't worry it BARELY COVERS ANYTHING!!!!!! Got a text with a ton of charges to the tune of about $1500 on top of the warranty. All of it is insane. I promise you go to any Sewell dealerships and you will understand how horrible this place is. NEVER AGAIN!
