Your vehicle’s air-conditioning stopped working likely because of a bad compressor or a freon leak. While these are the simple to spot reasons that the air-conditioner isn’t cooling in your car, a bad belt or a dirty cabin air filter could also be the problem. The AC system uses the engine power, meaning the AC won’t be receiving power if your car is using EV mode and the engine isn’t running.

Fuses help protect components of a car from a possible power surge and even though it may just need to get repaired, if the AC fuse keeps popping then it’s likely there could be a much larger problem at hand. For your AC to push cold air inside your car, it needs to displace all of that moisture it’s absorbed from the outdoors and flows down the evaporator drain pipe. This could also be caused by the AC Refrigerant level being low which leads to an overflow of condensation because the evaporator coils will start to freeze. You need to keep an eye out for faulty seals in the AC compartment or the AC’s air filters if the issue continues to occur.
